In the video that broke the internet and sent social media into a frenzy, Jinal who is beautifully dressed in a traditional Rajasthani outfit dances gracefully to Ghoomar. Meet’s spontaneous decision to join her dance shows how close they are, creating a moment that was so real that people around the world could relate to it. The way Meet looks at Jinal showcases the lovely warmth between the two and made netizens fall in love with the couple.

Meet, born in Rajasthan's Nimbahera and settled in Surat, Gujarat, shared school benches with Jinal, who came from a modest Jain Gujarati family. While they knew each other since school days, their paths diverged after graduation, only to reconnect post-college. What started as friendship evolved into something deeper, though not without its share of irony.

Jinal, as Meet recalls, “When we got close, she didn’t want to act on her feelings because she didn’t want to risk our friendship.” He didn’t know what irony meant because he, who once boasted to his friends that he would never go for a love marriage, was gradually falling in love with his best friend. According to Meet, “I didn’t know what love was, but the more I got to know her, the more I fell in love. She became my everything in life, the one I turn to for everything that happens in life.”

The love story develops in a multicultural environment with the approval of their families. Jinal accepts Meet’s Marwadi culture with enthusiasm, while he celebrates her Gujarati background. “We are in love because of the love our families gave us,” Meet stresses, which explains that their differences became the key advantage rather than the disadvantage.

The viral video was a surprise act by Jinal for Meet, and both of them did not think that it would gain national coverage. The look of love in his eyes every time she danced was so real that millions of people could relate to it. “It is through small actions like these that love is shown,” Meet says. “We should not spread hatred and should always look for the good in people.”

Meet and Jinal are not like other viral figures who are keen on gaining fame. They prefer to give the trend a natural fade, so as not to expose their real relationship to the public’s scrutiny. Their story shows that sometimes the most beautiful relationships are not created by the dramatic beginning but by the friendship, understanding, and mutual respect of a love that accepts the differences and builds a future together.
