What is The Culture Gully?
Started in 2017, The Culture Gully is a digital media platform aimed at educating people across the world about India's Culture beyond its well-known monuments. We all know about India's Taj Mahal, its Red Fort but how many us are aware of India's Tribal Culture or the tradition of wearing Vanki Rings in South India?
We explore the unexplored India and bring forward positive stories of impact deep-diving into history, art, culture and tradition of the land of diverse ethnicities. We believe in the power of the knowledge through the art of creative story-telling and deep-diving into exploring the unexplored India.
Over the years, we have worked with several brands notably Cadbury Gems, Godrej, Amazon Prime Video, MUBI and more to deliver content that appeals to the audiences amassing more than 10 Million readers every month.

Meet the Founder
-Nikita Gupta
Nikita's love for culture and history stems from her childhood. She practised Kathak for 9 years which helped her connect with history and artforms. She has worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Hello! Magazine and advised on Branding and Strategy. She pursued her MBA from NMIMS Mumbai in Marketing and B.Com Honours from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. She was born in Delhi in India; studied in Grenoble, France and has worked and lived in Mumbai, India.
